About Yashwanth S
I am a Computer Science Engineering student at Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering, Mysuru, with a strong passion for developing reliable applications, solving complex problems, and driving innovation through technology. My academic journey and practical experiences have helped me build a solid foundation in programming, AI/ML, and software development, while also strengthening my leadership and collaboration skills.I have worked on impactful projects such as Genefarm, a platform connecting GMO creators with farmers for seamless communication and transactions; DevFlow, an AI-powered development workflow platform designed to unify and automate code reviews and bug tracking; and an Iris Model, a machine learning solution achieving 96.6% accuracy in species prediction. These experiences have deepened my expertise in Python, C, C++, JavaScript, SQL, Flutter, React, and various modern frameworks and tools.Beyond academics, I actively contribute to communities and leadership initiatives. As Android Lead at GDG VVCE, I mentor peers and organize technical workshops. I was selected as a Youth for Governance Fellow at GRAAM, where I engaged in research on democratic issues, and as a Student Leader in the PALS program under IIT Alumni Champions. Additionally, I represented my institution as a Campus Ambassador for E-Cell IIT Bombay, promoting entrepreneurship and innovation.I am recognized for my achievements, including securing first place at the ASPIRE AI ML competition and delivering an impactful session on open-source technology at OpenEdgeX. I am eager to further apply my skills in software engineering, artificial intelligence, and open-source projects while continuing to grow as a professional committed to creating meaningful impact through technology.
