Prepare and review design packages, specifications, calculations, technical reports, and drawing for process and rotary equipment. • Select and design mechanical equipment, piping system, valves, and instruments that will meet the client’s process requirements and conditions. • Generate requests for quotations and support quote evaluation and procurement activities during project execution. • Monitor and guide design/drafting tasks and oversee internal checking required on all project drawings. • Review and approve vendor/fabricator shop drawings. • Perform preliminary 3D pipe routing and pipe stress analysis using Autopipe Bentley • Review piping Isometric drawings and issues for fabrication to vendor. • Working knowledge of ASME and API including the practical understanding of piping design, layout and detailed technical reports. • Interface with shop floor team for installation activities. • Participate in internal and client meetings during project execution. • Work closely with the project manager to assure that all work on an assigned project is timely, accurate and of high quality.
