ABOUT YASH PATEL
I am a Mechanical Engineering Technologist with an ‘Ever Positive Never Negative’ attitude recently graduated from the St. Clair college with an Advance Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology - Automotive Product Design. I am currently looking for an entry-level position as a Mechanical Designer in the Automotive industry. I have strong knowledge of Injection Mold Design, Jig & Fixture Design, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), CAM, Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA), Lean Manufacturing, Manufacturing processes, and Inspection methods. In addition to that, I also have intermediate understanding of 3D Scanning, Prototyping and 3D Printing. I am a skilled user and Certified Professional of CAD Software such as SolidWorks, Catia V5, Inventor, Siemens NX, and AutoCAD. I have experience in 3D Modeling, Surface Design, Sheet Metal Design, Weldments, Assembly Design, Rendering, 2D Drawing Sheets, BOMs, and GD & T. In addition to that; I have experience in CAM using Autodesk Power Mill and Various manufacturing processes and Mazak 5X CNC.
