ABOUT YASH PANDIA

As a qualified Chartered Accountant and a Bachelor of Commerce graduate from St. Xavier\'s College, I have a strong foundation in finance, accounting, and taxation. Currently, I am working as an Executive - Internal Control & Process Improvement at Saint-Gobain Group in India, a global leader in building materials and solutions. In role of Internal Controls, I have performed gap analysis, tracked internal controls, updated policies and SLAs, and assisted in internal audits of various processes and functions. I have also collaborated with multiple businesses to prepare financials, coordination with external auditors, and supported legal and GST teams in compliance and merger matters. Currently I\'m working on the transformation projects at Shared Services by working on process improvements and analytics area.Prior to joining Saint-Gobain Group, I headed a team of five members for statutory audit of large corporate clients in four sectors, conducted GST audits, and arbitrated clients on TDS, TCS, and GST provisions as an Articled Assistant at Kedia Dhandharia & Co. I also worked as a core team member and developed standard operating procedures for conducting GST audits. I am an insatiable learner who is always eager to acquire new skills and knowledge in finance, auditing, and taxation. I have obtained multiple certifications in investment banking, internal control, and equity derivatives. I am also skilled in market research, and equity research analysis. My goal is to leverage my academic credentials, analytical skills, and professional experience to create value and benefit in all sectors of life. I would love to interact with new people and increase my networking skills through this platform.
