Ensuring material availability for the assembly of Panamera & Macan, through close coordination with the suppliers and freight forwarders.• Planning and managing the safety stock levels by analysing the delivery performance of the supplier.• Monitoring all JIT deliveries and planning delivery backlogs with critical suppliers to mitigate the risk of component shortages.• Daily reporting and tracking of delivery backlogs and evaluation of suppliers, based on KPIs to create monthly and biannual PPM reports.• Maintaining and updating master data in the SAP system (delivery profile, offset, scheduling agreement) and communicating changes (ramp up and down) to suppliers via delivery call-offs in SAP.• Procurement of urgent components through stock transfers from other plants with communication and coordination with internal teams.• Monitoring advanced shipping notifications (ASN) to ensure OTIFF (On Time In Full Functioning) material availability to ensure smooth FIFO commisioning to the Assembly Line.
