   I am working as a Risk Analyst for the physical book (East Africa & East-West arbs region) for gasoil & jet fuel distillates. Responsible for end-to-end Pnl & risk management of Gasoil & jetfuel physical trades. Maintaining detailed position summary of respective business unit; determine daily pricing exposure by products using in-house ETRM systems; develop and implement risk management strategies to cover this exposure. Create economics of a deal independently and simulate optionality on physical trades to maximize profitability. Systematically identify, evaluate, hedge, monitor a range of pan-risks (including flat price, FX, non-performance, and other financial and non-financial risks) while ensuring comprehensive and aggregate visibility of enterprise risk Generate and present daily trading P&L reports with precise commentary to stakeholders such as traders and the board of directors, including root cause analysis for any changes in exposure and P&L. A good understanding of the various costs & nuances involved in a physical trade. Interact with Physical/Derivative Traders, Operators, Accounts/Auditors, Chartering Dept, Demurrage Dept in ensuring efficient risk management. Orchestrating company-wide month-end reconciliation and valuing stock at fair value to govern the firm’s frameworks, processes and capabilities, as well as regional and legal entity governance. Experience of working with cross-functional cross-geographical teams.
