ABOUT YASH KARPE
I build reliable cross disciplinary systems by bringing together software, embedded electronics, and mechanical design. With a background in Mechatronics, I enjoy turning complex technical challenges into practical and well engineered solutions.Since March 2026, I have been working at Macherey Nagel as a Software Engineer, contributing to the development of filter photometers and spectrophotometers. Before this, I worked at SGE Ingenieur GmbH, where I created a Qt6 based calibration and analysis suite for high frequency motorcycle telemetry. I also handled a complete embedded Linux project that involved reducing boot times, refining the operating system, and developing custom graphical interfaces.My master’s thesis strengthened my end to end engineering experience through the development of a standalone infrared supported real time traffic monitoring system that combined machine vision, embedded hardware, and CAD based design. I value clear communication, teamwork, and a supportive mindset, shaped by my time as an International Tutor at the Deggendorf Institute of Technology.
