As part of the Engineering team at Windsor Machines Limited, I am responsible for the electrical design and development of innovative Pipe Extrusion and Blow Film machines. My role involves leading the electrical design process, from concept through to implementation, for both machines that serve key industries such as manufacturing and packaging.• Electrical System Design: Develop and design electrical control systems and automation solutions for Pipe Extrusion and Blow Film machinery, ensuring high efficiency and reliability.• Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with mechanical, software, and production teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical components and systems.• Component Selection & Specification: Select and specify key electrical components, such as motors, drives, sensors, and PLC systems, optimizing for performance, cost, and energy efficiency.• Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving: Provide technical support during the commissioning phase and address any issues related to electrical functionality, performance, or integration.• Continuous Improvement: Drive ongoing efforts to improve electrical system design processes, enhancing both machine performance and production timelines.Through my work at Windsor, I’m able to contribute to the ongoing innovation in extrusion and film technology, advancing the capabilities of high-performance machinery that meet the evolving needs of the market.
