ABOUT YASH DAYAL SHARMA
I\'m on a mission to transform lifeless, barren soils into fertile lands, using organic waste and earthworms. As of 2024 my organization has trained over 2500 farmers, producing more than 1 million kgs of scientifically enriched vermicompost, the richest and most complete organic fertilizer known to man and the earth.I\'m also a certified master trainer in organic and natural farming from the National Centre for Organic and Natural Farming under the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmer\'s Welfare, Govt. of India. In this role, I collaborate with various stakeholders, such as farmers, scientists, microbiologists, bureaucrats, and policy experts, to promote sustainable agriculture and address the challenges of soil degradation, food security, and climate change. My passion for social impact and community empowerment stems from my education background in history and literature, as well as my previous experience as a founder and innovator of a free school for underprivileged children, where we worked on various projects such as building eco-coolers from plastic waste and teaching gender sensitization. I\'ve also been involved in theatre and animal rescue activities, spreading awareness and smiles along the way. I\'m always eager to connect, learn, explore opportunities and collaborate to scale up social impact and create a greener, healthier, and happier world.
