I am a public health professional with demonstrated expertise in mental health, RMNCH+A, nutrition and primary health care. In 8+ years of working in public health, I have effectively managed engagements in research, advocacy, programme implementation, strategy advisory and business development.All things mental health excite me - I am fuelled by a personal commitment to enhance people\'s access to mental health care and knowledge, and I\'d love to continue working in this space more deeply.I firmly believe in the expertise and importance of non-specialist, trained providers to promote high-quality mental health interventions and culturally responsive care.I am trained in providing evidence-based, informal mental health support. I am also trained as a gatekeeper for suicide prevention.Currently, I am curious about- How technology-based mental health care can provide context specific, culturally acceptable and empathetic support- Generating India-specific evidence on effective adolescent well-being interventions that recognise their unique needs- Addressing challenges in incentives for society, state and market to drive sustainability in public health outcomes
