Vice President Of Product Development (Jun 2016-Jun 2019): As the VP of product, I sit at the intersection of engineering and business strategy for our early-stage startup developing a handheld device that improves the accuracy and efficiency of spinal punctures across pain-management, emergency-medicine, obstetric, and orthopedic applications. Since spinning out of the TMC Biodesign Fellowship, our team has had exciting traction in the MedTech startup arena, including- Joined Chicago-based Insight PD as an accelerator company-Won the Tim Draper Award at 2016 SoGal Summit- Took 1st place at 2016HealthTECH Summit; awarded MATTER membership- Graduated with TMCx accelerator\'s first medical-device cohort- Received JLABS Innovation Award at AdvaMed 2016- Selected as 2016 MedTech Innovator semi-finalist; participated in virtual accelerator- Won the 1st place award at 2017 Texas A&M Venture Competition- Was chosen as one of the companies in Mass Challenge 2017 cohort.
