As an EOL Powertrain Triage Engineer, I lead the root cause analysis and troubleshooting of powertrain ECUs during static and dynamometer tests for Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs), Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEVs), and Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) Chrysler Minivans and ICE Dodge Chargers. My focus is on ensuring the highest standards of performance, quality, and efficiency, meeting production targets and timelines for all vehicle models, including the BEV Dodge Charger Daytona.Key Responsibilities:Root Cause Analysis & Troubleshooting: I diagnose and resolve powertrain ECU issues across BEVs, PHEVs, and ICE vehicles, ensuring that each model performs optimally during static and dynamometer tests.Cross-Functional Collaboration: I work alongside plant personnel, repair technicians, and software engineering teams at Chrysler Tech Center (CTC) to quickly address mechanical, hardware, and software failures, meeting launch deadlines and production goals.ECU Validation & Optimization: I triage and validate critical powertrain ECUs, including BPCM, IDCM, EVCU, and MCP, optimizing vehicle performance and ensuring smooth production ramp-ups for the BEV Dodge Charger Daytona, PHEVs, and ICE vehicles.Diagnostics & Failure Resolution: I perform in-depth diagnostics and vehicle disassembly in a garage environment, swiftly isolating and resolving powertrain failures to minimize downtime and keep production on track.Corrective Actions & Process Improvement: I collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions for recurring issues, driving continuous process improvements and ensuring the timely production of all vehicle models.Software & Hardware Validation: I validate software patches and hardware fixes, ensuring all solutions meet Stellantis quality standards and that production stays on schedule.
