About Yash Shukla

An IIT BHU alumn, currently an MBA candidate at IIM-A. Before joining IIMA, I worked at Applied Materials as a Senior Application Engineer, where I spent over two years leading global semiconductor projects across South Korea, Taiwan, the US, Israel, and India.During my time at Applied, I worked on optimizing manufacturing processes, driving automation initiatives, and delivering high-impact demos for top-tier clients. I collaborated with teams across continents, worked closely with senior stakeholders, and contributed to projects that resulted in significant productivity gains and revenue growth. These experiences also gave me the opportunity to explore diverse cultures and learn how to navigate complex challenges in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.At IIMA, I am exploring different domains and opportunities, keeping an open mind as I discover where my interests and skills align best. I enjoy working on problems that require structured thinking, creativity, and collaboration, and have participated in case competitions, leadership initiatives, and cross-functional projects as part of my academic journey.Outside of work and academics, I am deeply passionate about music. I have represented IIT BHU at multiple Inter-IIT cultural meets, composed original pieces, and led music events with large-scale participation. I also enjoy following global affairs, pencil sketching, and playing badminton in my free time.I’m always open to conversations about business, technology, music, or anything that sparks curiosity, and I enjoy connecting with people who bring diverse perspectives to the table!
