Responsible for successfully implementing all aspects of project design, engineering, permitting, interconnection, and procurement for Distributed Generation and C&I Solar Projects. • Review customer specifications and design criteria to gain comprehensive understanding of the customer’s scope, schedule, and budget to create innovative project design criteria and solutions. • Working knowledge of specifying and sizing of pole mounted equipment, grounding transformer, MV switchgear, step up transformers, switchboards, panel boards, inverters, DAS, cable trays, and CAB.• Review and understand Site Topology & Contours diagrams, ALTA survey files, Geo-tech report, historical data, grading plans for understanding the accessing site conditions for design initiation. • Manage and own the 30/60/90/IFC/IFP Engineering and Design Submittal process for projects assigned along with assisting the Civil, Electrical, and Procurement team till final completion of the project. • Assist the Distributed Generation and C&I sales team in developing bids and technical designs in relation to sales activity using AutoCAD, Helioscope, SAM, PVSyst, and Scanify.• Review of Stage B Interconnection drawings, single line diagram, bid sets, construction sets, as-builts drawings, DAS drawings, & CESIR reports in addition to coordinating overflow of engineering with third-party engineering vendors as needed for solar projects.
