About Yash Mistry
I am currently Vice President of Engineering at Riverbend Energy Group. With the help of our broader team, I manage the assets of our natural resources portfolio and work on our underwriting of natural resource investment opportunities. I lead the engineering department where I ensure the success of the team and collaborate on Riverbend’s technical efforts. I additionally led the engineering management of our natural gas fund, containing non-operated properties in the Utica, Fayetteville, and Haynesville shale. These properties, alongside our Bakken/Three Fork\'s non-operated properties were divested for $1.8 billion in 2022. Since joining Riverbend, I have assisted in the management, deployment, and/or monetization of 8 natural resource funds.I attended Texas A&M University (B.S. Petroleum Engineering) and Columbia Business School (MBA). I have broad experience spanning asset management, investment underwriting, and private equity, with technical expertise in A&D, reserves evaluation, data analytics, reservoir engineering, field operations, and production optimization.
