As part of the EDC, I had the opportunity to contribute to Ventura Symposium, one of the largest entrepreneurial platforms where 100+ startups participated. My role involved:Engaging with and listening to pitches from 20+ startups during the screening process.Collaborating with the team to shortlist 20 startups out of 100 for the final day.Observing top 20 startups pitch in front of investors, gaining first-hand insights into startup evaluation and investor perspectives.Learning key aspects of pitch structuring, business models, and investment readiness.This experience gave me valuable exposure to the startup ecosystem, sharpened my ability to evaluate ideas critically, and strengthened my understanding of what makes a pitch impactful.
