Part of the Test engineering team at Fortune Brands Innovation for their Yale Residential smart door locks. Responsible for testing the smart locks, both the hardware side of it as well as the software side of it. The various smart locks being tested have Z-wave, Zigbee, BLE, WiFi, the latest Matter chip, as well as the mesh network used in Google Nest smart door lock. For the hardware side of it, the motors, gearbox, deadbolt and various other aspects of the hardware are tested. The job involves interaction with various other teams at the company, such as the programming team, designing team, marketing team and various other team/team members who are part of Assa Abloy.
