Hi, I’m Yash Agarwal — a B.Tech Biotechnology student at Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology with a deep passion for biology, space science, and the intersection of science and technology in solving real-world problems, especially in healthcare.Before joining TIET, I qualified NEET, which gave me a strong grounding in biology, chemistry, and physics. Over time, I’ve tried to bridge academic learning with real-world applications. A few highlights of my journey so far:National Space Innovation Challenge Finalist – I designed two geostationary satellite models rooted in actual scientific principles.Best Interactor at RYLA 2024 (District 3110) – Recognized for leadership and community engagement through the Interact Club.Academic Foundation – Completed my schooling at R.A.N. Public School with a focus on life sciences and analytical subjects.Outside the lab and classroom, I’ve been trained in Indian classical and instrumental music (violin), which has taught me discipline, creativity, and the importance of balance.I’m particularly drawn to molecular biology, synthetic biology, bioinformatics, and space biotechnology.
