I am a Mechanical Engineer with good experience in the field of static equipment design. I am a member of ASME BPVC Sec India International working group and volunteer my free time for BPVC committee activities. I have a flair for design of complex Equipment catering to Oil and Gas Industry, Fertilizer and Petrochemicals industry etc. Being fortunate enough to work with Internationally renowned companies, I have good exposure to many international design codes, standards and engineering practices. I have got proven experience in providing solutions to design challenges for which previous references are not available. My long term career goal is to become a consultant in the industry with vast experience and expertise in almost all fields of Mechanical Engineering.My major skills and responsibilities include. Designing and detailed engineering of Static Equipments like. Pressure Vessels. Columns and Towers. Heat Exchangers. Reactor and Convertors. To translate Design output into Mechanical and Thermal Datasheets, Engineering Drawing, Specification, Technical Delivery Condition and other Engineering Documents. Approval of the Drawings and Calculations from Client, Process Licensor etc. Training and guidance of Junior Engineers, Draftsmen. Coordination with other Departments like Project Management, Piping and Plant Layout, Civil Engineering, Process and Instrumentation etc to ensure smooth flow of overall work process. To participate in Business Meeting, Kick Off Meeting, Pre Inspection meeting etc to discuss and resolve technical and commercial issues. Check and approval of Engineering Calculation, FEA reports, Drawings, Technical offers from Vendors. Review of Technical bids, Preparation of Bid Evaluation and participation in the vendor selection process. I have got experience in working with the following Design Codes and Design Softwares. ASME Div 1 and 2. API Codes. AD TEMA. PV lite Design Software. Compress Design Software. HTRI. Stadd Pro. Review of ASME PVP Papers, volunteer for modification and update of ASME BPVC Codes.
