Sustainable, Flat-Pack HousingRapid urbanization is a global phenomenon- 70% of the total population are expected to be living in urban centers by the year 2030 and consuming 80% of the total energy. It is in these mega cities where the issues of climate change, social inequality, immigration and economical development will merge at once.ModulusTech is an initiative to prototype new ways that houses can be built to counter these threats. We have an ambition to realize more humanistic, futuristic, and waste-conscious, sustainable housing for the masses.My Role:Co-Developed the Proprietary Engineering Design of Sandwiched Wall Panels, Steel connectors and the Assembly Methodology to fast track the assembly Process of modular housing system.Developed and lead the holistic operations of the firm. including procurement, vendor selection, cost analysis, inventory management, P&L, procurement, sales, and production since day 1 and expanded to output capacity of 100 houses/monthLead a diverse team of over 50 internal and external members, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of projects.Received Edge expert training and spearheaded the successful attainment of Edge Advance certification for Affordable Housing Project.Grossed over $1.5 Million in sales and completed over Square feet area of sustainable built spaces.Worked closely with CEO to drive profitability, raise external fundings and monitor financial performance to drive continuous growth on a bootstrapped strategy.
