Yaseen Eldik - Community Efforts in Support of Equity and Inclusion Yaseen Eldik is a community leader who helps define and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts at the institutional level. He holds director responsibilities with the Diversifying the Academic Pipeline program at Yale Law School, and works to create a campus environment that welcomes and supports students from wide ranging backgrounds. Yaseen Eldik tackles urgent social issues such as racism and unconscious bias, while fostering student-led communities. Having earned his juris doctor at Harvard Law School, Mr. Eldik was a teaching assistant with the Harvard Fashion Law Lab in 2019. He collaborated with a visiting professor in instructing and designing a well-received fashion law course. That year, he also co-organized and facilitated a discussion on the topic “Rectifying Historic Injustice.” In 2023, Mr. Eldik helped plan and lead an educational excursion that brought students to Montgomery, Alabama, to visit the National Memorial for Peace and Justice and the Equal Justice Initiative Legacy Museum. For the past six years, Yaseen Eldik has engaged as Gucci Changemakers Council co-chair and provided corporate executives with recommendations on the brand’s diversity and inclusion program. He has also identified students worthy of scholarship support and helped select community-based nonprofit partner organizations.
