My practice focuses on protecting our clients’ intellectual property rights through counseling, prosecution, enforcement, and litigation. I use my litigation experience to strengthen and protect clients’ intellectual property rights, manage risks, and position them to succeed in the event of a dispute. I frequently advise and protect brands on their journey into web3 and counsel various web3 platforms, from games to marketplaces, on compliance and risk management.IP Advice and Counseling: I advise clients on IP issues implicated by the use of web3 technology-based products and services, including non-fungible tokens, metaverses, games, online marketplaces and other platforms. Trademark/Copyright Prosecution and Brand Development: I work with counsel around the world to help develop and manage international trademark portfolios, including prosecuting trademark matters before the USPTO and the TTAB. IP Enforcement, Defense, and Litigation: I have a decade of experience litigating intellectual property disputes, including trademarks, copyrights, patents, as well as false advertising. Over the last few years I have had a major focus on protecting brands in the metaverse and other web3 platforms, including policing and enforcing IP rights against web3 infringers and counterfeiters. This includes successfully taking down infringing NFTs from exchanges and other platforms, shutting down infringing coin offerings, and recovering infringing domains. I manage intellectual property disputes on a global scale, including, when necessary, litigating complex commercial claims in federal courts nationwide.
