I am an accounting professional with a multidisciplinary background that integrates the precision of civil engineering, the communication skills developed through teaching, and the analytical focus of finance. Currently a CPA candidate, I bring over three years of experience in accounting, with a strong commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement. My career began in civil and geotechnical engineering, where I gained hands-on experience in infrastructure planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk assessment. I worked extensively with tools such as gINT and GeoStudio to produce technical models and factual reports. This work strengthened my analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to manage complex, data-driven projects, skills that now serve me well in the financial field. Throughout my engineering and student years, I also worked as a teacher and tutor. This experience sharpened my communication, organization, and multitasking abilities, allowing me to clearly explain complex concepts and manage competing priorities. These transferable skills continue to support my success in accounting. I transitioned into the accounting field as an Accounts Payable Generalist and quickly advanced to an Accountant role. I now manage full-cycle accounting processes, perform reconciliations, and prepare financial reports to ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance. I am currently pursuing the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation, driven by a strong desire to continue building my technical expertise and contribute meaningfully to any organization I serve.
