About Yao Qian
I am a process development engineer specializing in ion implantation on the power R&D team at Wolfspeed, where I have the privilege to explore the unknown with brilliant scientists and engineers and work on cutting-edge equipment everyday! I get to bring out my creativity to tackle complex problems, to be a professional explorer and learner!Though I don’t come from a traditional artistic background, I’ve always been drawn to creative expression—whether through music, storytelling, streetwear, or animation. As an engineer, I’ve spent years solving complex problems, but I’ve come to realize that I also want to create things that depict the beauty of the world, and connect with all beings on an emotional level. While I’m still at the very beginning of this journey, my passion is driving me to learn, explore, and grow one step at a time.
