ABOUT YANNICK ZERBE

Yannick Zerbe is a policy advisor at the Swiss Embassy in Berlin. He previously served as the Chief of Staff of the UN Division of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA). Prior to this position, he worked as an advisor at the Host State section of the FDFA’s UN Division as well as at the ICRC\'s legal division. Yannick Zerbe holds an M.A. in international affairs (major in global security) from the Graduate Institute for International and Development Studies in Geneva (IHEID) and an LLM in international humanitarian law and human rights from the Geneva Academy. He has further studied at Yale University, University of Geneva and the University of Chile. His main professional and academic interests lie at the intersection of international (humanitarian) law and security politics.
