ABOUT YANN CHEVALON

I am a senior structural designer. I have more than ten years of construction engineering. I hold a master\'s degree in architectural engineering from Danmarks Tekniske Universitet and a master\'s degree in civil engineering from Ecole Spéciale des Travaux Publics, du Bâtiment et de l\'Industrie.My core competencies include finite elements analysis, fatigue of materials, mechanical design with polymers, viscoelasticity, and fracture mechanics. I am also skilled in research and development, commercial and technical support, and interdisciplinary collaboration for sensitive interface management. In my current role, I define and document design procedures, perform analytical or finite element models, develop new design methods, and provide support to clients and stakeholders. I also work with diverse departments and teams across the organization, such as materials department, pipe terminations department, and dynamic testing department, to ensure complete engineering solutions.I like learning new skills and taking on increased responsibilities, and I am always looking for new challenges that will enhance my professional growth and development. I have obtained multiple certifications in construction math, Excel macros and VBA, and AutoLISP & Visual LISP, to expand my knowledge and expertise. I am fluent in French, and English, and I enjoy working in a multicultural and dynamic environment. My goal is to design innovative solutions for structures or flexible pipes that meet the needs and expectations of the oil and gas industry.
