Optica (formely OSA) is keen to further develop, build and sustain relationships and connections with Optica members and customers throughout Europe. In normal circumstances I spend most of my time on the road visiting companies, faculties and students at universities, libraries and sister organisations across Europe, regularly engaging with Optica primary stakeholders as well as Optica colleagues back at our headquarters in Washington, DC, USA.After many years travelling and meeting with key people essentially from Publishing and Libraries, this new position created by Optica aims to enhance and maximise our society\'s interactions with this large group of Optics and Photonics professionals that makes our global Optica community.
