At the Computer Research Insitute of Montréal with a specialization in speech and natural language processing. I work on leveraging advanced machine learning models to enhance language technologies. My primary responsibilities involve the development and optimization of automatic speech recognition (ASR) systems using Transformer architectures. The systems I work on are mostly trained on synthetic data created using pre-trained TTS models, fine-tuned on a corpus of French Canadian for optimal adaptation to the specificities of the language. Aiming to improve the AI\'s capability to accurately recognize and transcribe spoken language in a context where data is sensitive and limited in quantity (e.g. banks, call centers, health sector).
