Main responsibilities include:• Draft, negotiate, and provide legal counsel to U.S. and global stakeholders on numerous commercial transactions and agreements, including: licensing, sponsorship, marketing, and product integration; content partners (including OTT, LG Channels, MVPD, and FAST partners), production companies, talents, hospitality partners, advertisers, and technology providers; sales, dealer, carrier, and distributors; materials and services procurement agreements; and media production and event activation contracts, including location agreements, intellectual property clearances, appearance releases, and participation waivers.• Advise internal clients on a broad range of liability, compliance, and policy issues, including intellectual property, consumer protection and safety, fiduciary duties of board members and majority shareholders, antitrust, and privacy. • Review and verify compliance of marketing, advertising, contests, sweepstakes, and other promotional materials.Guided legal strategy for LG’s global exit from the mobile business.• Reviewed consumer, vendor, and supplier agreements; advised on termination strategies; and drafted and negotiated termination notices and agreements. • Researched, assessed, and advised on various legal risks, including contractual obligations, warranties, and consumer rights. Manage outside counsel and budgets, conduct interviews and discovery, and work with internal clients related to ongoing litigations, subpoenas, and investigations. Draft and implement guidelines and training programs, including on data sharing and integration, antitrust, marketing and advertising, and internal legal systemsManage Brand Protection Program to safeguard LG brands.
