10-year plus extensive hands-on experience in power electronics systems and application design, including DC-DC, DC-AC and AC-DC conversions. Rich experience in system commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and problem diagnosis. 10-year plus power electronics and power system research experience. Research areas include but are not limited to multilevel inverter, dc-dc converters, digital control, flexible ac transmission system (FACTS) device, motor drive and computational intelligence. Strong expertise in digital control (DSP, CPLD/FGPA). Deeply engaged in the development of cutting-edge control techniques in low power dc-dc and high power dc-ac applications. Solid and comprehensive knowledge in power electronics related field from semiconductor power devices to high-power system design.
