About Yang Meng
If I had to describe myself in one word, it would be “sailor.” I’ve competed in sailing at both national and international levels, and the sport continues to shape how I work—collaborative, resilient, and calm under pressure.Off the water, I bring the same mindset into my academic journey as a communication major. I\'m especially interested in how media shapes narratives, builds communities, and influences public opinion. Whether analyzing sports coverage, creating digital content, or exploring political symbolism in media, I enjoy connecting theory with real-world impact. I’ve also applied these skills through internships, student-led projects, and event coordination, where strong storytelling and audience awareness make a difference.At heart, I’m always exploring—through new conversations, creative challenges, and the stories we tell to make sense of the world.
