As Chrome Search product lead, I have hired and developed a team of individual contributor PMs, growing the overall team from 6 to over 40, with cross-company influence through mentorship and leadership in virtual teams. In this role I steer the work of a cross-functional product team of UX designers and researchers, SWEs and PMs, working directly with executives, marketing, PR, privacy, legal, security, and policy across Google Ads, Search, Research, Photos, Android, Cloud and others. I set a multi-year strategy balancing business needs and user delight and led its successful execution across 6 platforms serving 800M+ DAU. In addition to delivering on growth goals for the business, I\'ve led multiple emergent product efforts including the new Search Generative Experience in Chrome\'s Google search side panel and Chrome Journeys (now grouped Chrome History), which leverages on device ML to solve a hard user problem of completing complex information task (e.g. researching a medical treatment or the best school to attend). Previously I\'ve managed Chrome\'s efforts to adapt the Chrome browser experience to the user. As part of this, I also managed Chrome\'s built-in translation experience as well as other language-related efforts including understanding user language preferences through machine learning efforts to give users access to all information on the web in whatever language they prefer.
