Target database discovery: a developed process installed in the host will discover all databases by recording host configuration, database/instance/service names, tablespaces, users, and etc. in a central repository database. Automatic datafile addition: sufficient space will be maintained by automatically adding datafiles to those tablespaces reaching user-defined thresholds defined in the central repository database. High availability: having each database maintaining its own copy of tablespace information if the repository database becomes unavailable.4. High scalability: process is running inside each database concurrently rather than serially from the repository database.5. Capacity planing: tablespace usages are recorded in the central repository database.• Automation on Oracle Schemas Refresh1. All schema refresh requests: can be easily managed by simply schedule a job per request by eliminating tedious manual works. Multiple schemas can be refreshed in a single job. Source and target schemas can be in different databases and hosts.• Disaster Strategy1. Oracle: Data Guard with DG Broker is used for the real time replication.2. MSSQL: database mirroring is used3. MySQL: slave database is configured• Support daily operation for MSSQL databases and create linked servers to communicate to both MySQL and Oracle databases.• Install MySQL engine and create MySQL databases, export/import databases, setup SSL connections and slave• Install PostgreSQL engine and create databases, load data, configure SSL connections
