Fixed TI tda4x with Sony’s IMX390 camera module (a different kind camera module from Chinese firm Autobrain) issue of pink Sun/cloud and flickering issues. It resolved two long standing issues faced by Autobrain: 1) the pink Sun and cloud (saturation issue on the high tone); 2) heavy flickering. • Worked out camera sensor driver for Omnivision’s X8B (8MP) with TI’s tda4x J7 board (HikVision’s modified DCU) for automotive ADAS applications and worked out ISP settings as well. Worked out sensor register settings for HDR combination and programmed a new PWL. Worked out a camera driver of AE and AWB for X8B. Worked out AWB and CCM settings with raws taken with IE’s lightbox. Worked out sharpening (EE) and de-noising (nsf4) for x8b. Achieved good dynamic range, low light performance, and provided customized IQ solution for ADAS application. • Worked out camera sensor driver for Omnivision’s X3C (2MP) with TI’s tda4x J7 board (HikVision’s modified DCU) for automotive ADAS applications and worked out ISP settings as well. • It was my work that enabled design wins with Geely (China) from our Chinese partner Autobrain. The Geely project will use X8B as the front camera and X3C as SVM/side/rear cameras for ADAS applications. • Got familiar with TI’s tiovx/OpenVX, familiar with TI’s AE and AWB imaging libraries, and proposed improvement over AE algorithm and AWB calibration data generation. • Contributed ideas and knowledge toward company’s vision development and company’s objectives.
