As Finance Manager / Finance Director for Hungary and a member of the local leadership team, I oversee the country’s financial strategy, planning, reporting, and operations. Together with my team of six dedicated finance professionals, we take full ownership of finance, accounting, tax, controlling, and statutory reporting, ensuring compliance with local regulations and alignment with global standards.We act as strategic partners to the business, delivering actionable financial insights that drive performance, enable sound decision-making, and support growth and transformation initiatives. Our collaborative approach fosters a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and strong cross-functional partnership across Operations, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and People & Culture.Key Responsibilities:• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, ensuring alignment with business strategy.• Provide decision support through scenario modelling, variance analysis, and performance reporting.• Oversee accounting, tax, controlling, and statutory compliance for the Hungarian market.• Drive financial performance by identifying improvement opportunities and leading KPI tracking.• Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and P&C to ensure financial sustainability.• Manage risk through internal control oversight and proactive mitigation strategies.• Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team of six; support organizational finance transformation and digitalization.• Collaborate with cluster and global leadership to support strategic planning and reporting requirements.• Support business cases and capital investment decisions based on financial viability.• Ensure financial insights are translated into actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.• Lead the IBP -Integrated Business Planning Financial process
