I am currently a senior, majoring in Biology with a concentration in Applied Genetics minoring in Women\'s and Gender Studies at the University of Detroit Mercy. I have the privilege of receiving the NHS-funded ReBuild full-ride scholarship, for my academic achievement and scientific inquiry. I have held many leadership roles in the past and have had the privilege to collaborate with many research-based organizations in Detroit.Currently striving towards the goal of attending medical school and pursuing an MD/PhD. Passionate about applying the knowledge I gain through my academic and research opportunities to help benefit the Detroit community holistically.
