About Yahya Amjad
I am a Junior at Indiana University on the Pre-Medical track. With ambitions of pursuing a career as a physician-scientist, I aim to leverage computational techniques for application in clinical settings. Inspired by the success of recent 3D modeling and AI/ML generative technologies in the life sciences, I am in the process of learning how to help establish such computational tools at the forefront of translational research. In facilitating this process, motivated also by long-standing passions for technology, I am pursuing undergraduate studies in Computer Science with a focus on Artificial Intelligence. Currently, I am working with Dr. Arya Iranmanesh in the IU School of Medicine\'s Cardiothoracic Radiology department in developing VR-based simulation software to assist in the teaching of CT-guided lung biopsies for resident physicians.
