    Proposed an area-preserving polygon smoothing algorithm with explicit curvature control for the internal Optical Proximity Correction (OPC) toolbox. Implemented the proposed algorithm in C++, and showed that the new algorithm results in a more manufacturable mask by reducing the curvature violations by 92%, while maintaining equivalent runtime and OPC quality. Used VTune for code profiling and optimization, and Git for version control.
