About Xueming Qian

Xueming was trained as a scientist and studied neuroscience in graduate school, and gained experience on antibody based drug development while working at AMGEN from 1997 to 2010. Since 2013 Xueming has founded MABSPACE and grew it to what is now called TRANSCENTA, with the mission to discover, develop and deliver innovative medicines globally for patients with cancer, bone and kidney diseases. TRANSCENTA now houses 300 scientists in both US (Princeton, Boston) and China (Suzhou, Hangzhou, Beijing, Shanghai). TRANSCENTA has built a team that can perform lead generation and optimization, preclinical and translational research, process development and GMP manufacturing, finally clinical development for regulatory approval.
