My name is Jerry, and I am an incoming FinMath student at UChicago. I have done analytical research during my school years using Python, R, Stata, and Excel. The experience helps me develop proficient skills in collecting and analyzing big data. I am really enthusiastic about the financial markets and it\'s my goal to become a financial analyst. I started to invest in cryptocurrency and the US stock market at the beginning of 2020; the volatility and chanciness of stocks teach me deliberation and precision from the perspective of life. I have learned and started to use Python and Java since high school. Being precise as a coder will save you countless hours debugging and searching for a missed semi-colon. I bring this attentiveness to detail in all of my work, whether it is creating a slide deck or analyzing the minute details of a financial report.
