I am a problem-solving multi-skilled bio-analytical experimentalist with an electrical engineering background. Experience in interdisciplinary fields of laser, optics, biomedical engineering and teaching. Trained experimentalist/engineer with strong lab skills including molecular and cellular biophysics, laser alignment, building, modifying, operating, calibrating, repairing and validating instrumentation (different imaging modalities). Specialized in super-resolution imaging microscopy techniques. I am a quick learner with mechanic aptitude, as well as detail-oriented and self-motivated interdisciplinary team player with high adaptivity.With diverse background in engineering, biology science, math, physics, and programming, I am always ready to embrace the new challenges. My interdisciplinary background cultivates me to be a perfect role in communicating within cross-functional groups. I have 5+ years of project management and laboratory management. As the main staff responsible for maintaining the lab instruments, I have trained 3 undergraduate students, 4 graduate students and 4 colleagues to utilized our setups in their research. Adventure and travel are always my lifelong missions. The joy of discovery always motivates and inspires me to go further. I am always eager to learn new things/knowledge and challenge new obstacles.
