My Passion: • Autonomous driving, autonomous driving, and autonomous driving!Technical Background:• Radar, perception, tracking, sensor fusion, & localization since 2005.Achievements:• Architected and implemented a number of systems that have been delivered on products. • 30 technical publications. Received 5 best paper nominations, and won 1 best paper award.• 35 US patents and patent applications.Work Experience Highlights:• From 2005 to 2008, I worked on signal and data processing for the space-borne remote sensing radar at Chinese Academy of Sciences, where I successfully developed methods to generate high-resolution radar image with multiple low resolution subsystems. • Supported by Office of Navy Research (ONR), I worked on various advanced projects from 2008 to 2012. E.g, I have developed methods to remove electronic interference from distributed radar system and significantly improves its information retrieval performance; I have invented a method to calibrate sonar tracking system, and such method can reduce tracking errors by 2-5 meters; I have explored various methods to fuse different sensors in maneuver target tracking. • From 2014 to 2016, I worked at Samsung R&D, where I designed algorithms on mobile platforms localization & tracking facing unfriendly environments such as tunnel passing through, urban canyon, electronic interference. My works have been commercialized in Samsung’s products.
