   Negotiate with regulatory authorities, especially EPA and EFSA, for UPL pesticide registration at the global level. Defend UPL position by developing position papers for various toxicological related issues. Lead multiple projects involving collaboration with marketing, lab testing, formulation, product development and regulatory affairs. Coordinate with consultants for UPL regulatory submission. Conduct QSAR analysis for impurities identified in active ingredients in pesticide products. Design and monitor toxicity studies through contract research organization (CRO) labs for acute toxicity (oral, dermal, inhalation, skin irritation, eye irritation, skin sensitization), genotoxicity, and repeat dose toxicity. Conduct data analysis and respond to internal and external stakeholders for short-term, long-term toxicity, carcinogenicity, reproduction, and endocrine disruption. Serve as UPL toxicologist representative in industry trade organizations including CropLife America. Keep abreast of changing regulatory requirements and how they may impact the company product portfolio, proactively identify potential challenges, and provide solutions to address those challenges.
