About Xing Li

Driven by his passion for innovation and excellence, Xing has compiled a track record of delivering results. Xing is the chief architect behind generations of image path for Xerox’s award-winning monochrome and color products. Xing worked on the first DocumentCentre family digital multifunction devices when he started at Xerox and made contributions to the success of the product line. Since then he has led numerous imaging design and development undertakings. As the manager the image processing system design group Xing provided guidance, empowerment and support to the competent and agile team that made key contributions to Xerox’s growth in office color. Most recently Xing facilitated the collaboration of top-notch engineers and scientists in developing and deploying cutting edge technologies for the next-gen imaging platform that will give Xerox a clear advantage over competition in various market segments. In his current as well as previous roles at Xerox, Xing has been continuously pursuing product innovation and process improvement. He has received more than 120 U.S. patents to date with more pending. The process initiatives he championed resulted in shortened development cycle, reduced cost and increased quality. Xing’s professional career started at Marine Design & Research Institute in China (MARIC) as an electrical engineer. Later he became the manager of the instrumentation section. With a high intrapreneurial spirit Xing led the team in developing a number of products and solutions from inception to completion and in creating and expanding the market with great success.Between MARIC and Xerox Xing worked in a number of different settings.
