   Hello All!I would love to introduce myself and share with all of you what I do and why I do it.In short, I help client and patients bring health and wellness back into their lives. A person who eats well, exercises and meditates will be a happy person who is able to perform to their best of their ability. I am a firm believer that healthy habits make for a happy mind and body; with this in mind, I love to be a motivator for selfcare via one to one counseling, presentations, social media or any media.I have been fortunate to reach millions of people through television, radio, magazines and web venues. I have appeared in CNN en Español, Telemundo, Univision, AmericaTeve, Caracol, Univision Radio, and WLRN.The basis of my work is to guide clients and consumers in finding a healthy lifestyle that can be maintained permanently. I love to translate science-base nutrition information into a practical and sensible eating plan. I also have more than 10 years of media experience. I have worked for various brands and commodities; my clients include General Mills, Coca Cola, Mango Board and Florida Dairy Market.Why I do what I do:I was raised in a small family who appreciated food and cooked daily. I started helping in the kitchen when I was 8 or 9 years old. Chopping onions, tomatoes and garlic was a regular task for me because we used them in virtually every meal. We regularly visited farmer’s markets to buy lots of fruits and vegetables for the week. That probably explains my existing obsession with food, nutrition and farmer’s markets. Thanks to my family and good fortune, choosing nutrition and dietetics as a career came natural to me. As registered dietitians, I believe that we can help our clients adapt positive habits that can improve their health and state of mind.
