ABOUT XIAOXING QING 青 澍啟

As a physician-scientist (Tongji, Shanghai and Giessen, Germany), clinical researcher (Mainz and global), and Pharma MBA student (Goethe, Frankfurt), I am passionate about bringing first-in-class, next-generation immunotherapies and vaccines (mRNA, mAb, bsAb, bNAb, ADC, CGT.) for cancer and infectious diseases to patients — and exploring how AI can empower clinical development. After nearly a decade in academic medical research, I broadened my perspective through 2.5 years of socio-medical and educational work with AIDS-Hilfe, in close collaboration with the infectious disease ward at UKGM. This hands-on experience — marked by direct patient engagement and interdisciplinary teamwork — profoundly shaped my understanding of clinical trials and the real-world impact of therapeutic innovation. I then transitioned into the biotechnology sector and now bring 5 years of experience in Clinical QA Compliance, GCP auditing and project management. I currently work on global immuno-oncological (I/O) trials and inspection readiness, while also contributing to HIV/AIDS clinical trials and public health initiatives. In parallel, I serve as a guest lecturer, designing interactive courses on Clinical Research and GCP, while mentoring PhD students and early-career professionals. As a multilingual communicator (CN/DE/EN+) in global matrix organisations and transcultural bridge builder with integrated Asian-European socialisation, I feel called to connect arts and sciences, academia and industry, healthcare and therapy development, and diverse communities. I believe in “Think globally, act locally” and advocate for outdoor and team sports — proudly serving as a rowing team captain. My name reflects my cultural heritage: Xiaoxing (x ≈ sh in EN, ≈ ch in DE) means “Little star”, Qing (, q ≈ tsch) stands for “Sky blue” 🟦, Shùqǐ (), my courtesy name, embodies renewal and clarity – values I strive to bring into clinical development.
