ABOUT XIAOSONG LU
Software Certification At Wind River, I conducted DO-178C Level-A certification efforts for diverse projects, leveraging ALM software API to implement crucial tools and interfaces. I seamlessly integrated LDRA into the VxWorks 653 platform and authored comprehensive software tool certification documentation. Additionally, I actively participated in Agile methodologies, serving as a Scrum Master. Software Testing At Wind River, I investigated and tracked software defects, maintaining high software quality with a consistent 100% pass rate on nightly builds and automation tests. I also designed a Jenkins pipeline that achieves a 70% reduction in the time required to complete all activities, encompassing project building, extensive testing, dynamic code analysis, and diverse report generation. Research My research endeavors primarily center around the development of learning algorithms for autonomous robots. Throughout my doctoral studies, I focused on designing algorithms for cooperative territory guarding by robotic agents, resulting in four published contributions to this field. These contributions have not only advanced our understanding but also opened up exciting avenues for future research in multi-agent learning. Beyond this, my research extends into pursuit-evasion games and adaptive control for robotic manipulators, yielding additional published contributions. Teaching My journey in teaching began in 2005 as a teaching assistant at Carleton University. Over six years, I honed my teaching skills by delivering lectures, tutoring students, conducting labs, and grading assignments. My expertise covers courses such as Systems and Simulation (1 term), Digital Signal Processing (4 terms), and Automatic Control Systems (4 terms). Specialties: DO-178C Level-A | Python | Bash | Visual Studio Code | LDRA | Polarion | C/C++
