About Xiaojing Yang
With over a decade of academic and industry experience in epigenetics and cancer research, I lead the strategic planning, development, and operational launch of innovative genomic, epigenomic, and transcriptomic technologies at Zymo Research. My interdisciplinary background spans molecular biology, bioinformatics, chemistry, engineering, quality assurance and manufacturing, with deep expertise in next-generation sequencing (NGS) and liquid biopsy.I’m driven by the belief that science only matters when it reaches people — and the lives they care about. As a science-led strategist and operator, I’ve helped bring ideas from concept to clinic and beyond. I led the development and successful launch of Bladder CARE™, an FDA breakthrough-designated non-invasive test for bladder cancer detection, and SWARM®, a high-throughput bisulfite sequencing platform supporting both human aging research and pet epigenetic testing through products like myDNAge® and myDog DNAge®.By integrating scientific insight with operational excellence, I also help translate early-stage discoveries into accessible, impactful clinical tools. I’ve collaborated with world-class scientists and industry partners to turn innovation into action.I remain deeply committed to translating science into tools that improve health, longevity, and quality of life for all living beings.
