ABOUT XIANGXUE ZHAO
I am a Ph.D. in Reliability Engineering at the University of Maryland. My research focus is to develop data-driven prediction, design, and control of autonomous engineering systems with an interplay of statistical machine learning and physics-based simulation. It mainly involves techniques of dimension reduction, feature extraction, surrogate modeling, and reinforcement learning. The objective is to enable systems\' dynamical adaptation to changing environments using real-time data.
