About Shannon Li

I have been working at DoorDash Core Infrastructure team as an Infrastructure Engineer since March 2019. Our team design, build and operate reliable, performant and efficient infrastructure for DoorDash developers to ship great products quickly. Currently working on compute domain to manage 30+ Kubernetes clusters, provide tools and support to DoorDash engineering teams deploying workloads on these clusters. Previously working on observability domain to provide reliable monitoring infrastructure for DoorDash services.

Key Focus- Cluster management: provisioning, configuration and ongoing management of DoorDash fleet of Kubernetes clusters; ensure the availability, scalability, performance, and security of the clusters- Workload management: enable new ways to scale and optimize applications running on the clusters; continually improve efficiency, resource utilization, performance and scalability- Platform productivity: abstract complicated infrastructure and improve tooling to support our platform’s customers.
